June 2 – Patience, or: How to Stop a Train

The faster you’re moving, the harder it is to stop.  Between stacked calendars and never-ending to do lists, family to take care of and careers to balance, there’s not much time to just. sit. and. wait.  Before Jesus ascends into heaven; before he tells his disciples to Go! he tells them to Stay. To refuse to act until God does.  He tells them to wait.  This Sunday, we’ll talk through why and how… (Acts 1:4-8)
